Blue Birds

Had a little photo shoot today on my way home from Merritt. I think the darker blue one is the female and the bright blue are the males.

This Owl was in one of the machine shed, it had caught a pigeon and wasn't given it up to fly away....it was pretty cool to see. Watch Wayne's Weather Window, I submitted a couple of these owl photos...he better like these ones!!!!

Kendra, Gail and I went kayaking on Little Chapperon Lake today after work. It was a little windy and cool but lots of fun.

It is a very nice little lake with lots of birds, we even saw a coyote running along the top of one of the cliffs above the lake (sorry I wasn't able to get a picture, he was a too fast for me!!).

Here's Kendra..her first kayaking experience. On the way home Kendra and I saw our first black bear, it was too far away for a picture, we tried stalking it but had no luck....maybe next time.

1st time out Kayaking this year

It was a beautiful spring day here today, warm and sunny. Gail and I got out kayaking for the 1st time of the season, there was still some ice but a great afternoon for a paddle. We went up to Salmon Lake. Yep that's ice that I'm busting through!!!!

Took a drive to Salmon Lake

After work today Kendra and I head out for a drive, armed with our cameras. We head up towards Salmon Lake Resort. Found these buttercup looking flowers and thought they where pretty....even a little Eastery.
