I'm Back in Action

It's been awhile since I made an entry on my blog....that's because I had a little accident with my camera. I was out kayaking a few weeks ago, and there where some pretty good waves. We had our kayaks pulled up onto a beach while we went for a swim, but I guess they weren't pulled up quite far enough because a wave came in and knock the boats and my camera bag feel over and a wave went inside, getting my camera wet. After a couple visits to town I finally broke down and ordered a new camera...it arrived yesterday and thank goodness, I was lost without it. Here is a picture of a float plane that I got the day of our kayaking outing....the last photos taken on my old camera.

Today I got out with my NEW camera and got these shots of baby birds, the parent where none to happy with the photo shoot though, they keep diving a me and driving Huck nuts. They are living in my birdhouse....it's pretty cool, but they sure do make alot of noise.

Last week we had a wedding shower for Kendra (aka my best friend), this is an afghan that our craft group make for her, we each either knitted or crochet square and then we put them all together, it turned out way better than we thought it would.
