Huck and an Eagle

Here's Huck at the beach (Prince Phillip Point on Douglas Lake), not really beach weather but he didn't seem to mind a bit. Doesn't look much like middle of July does it.

On our way home we spotted this Eagle perched in a tree above the lake...maybe looking for lunch?

Speaking of lunch....look what's ready!! Time to make a pie maybe.

Flowers

These are a couple flowers from my garden, haven't been taking many pictures the last few day, it's been very, VERY rainy.

Kayaking on Douglas Lake

Yesterday afternoon Kendra and I went kayaking on Douglas Lake, it was a sunny, hot afternoon. We went across the lake and found a little beach. We had a picnic and did some sun tanning....we are a bit red today!!

Westham Island

I spent the Canada Day long weekend on Westham Island (Ladner), the flowers are blooming and the strawberries being picked.

I thought this was a cool looking sky...worth a picture.

I got my marks back from my first photos assignment (see pictures in a blog below...1st Photo Assignments) and I got a grade of A-....I was very happy with that mark. It was the tree picture that brought down the mark, which I'm not too surprise, I wasn't totally happy with that shot.
